what is the jdm prelude vtec and what its the usdm vtec. normally i would have searched but the archives are currently down as u probably know, so i cant. so please dont flame. my friend is looking at buying one and i want to know what the engine is when i go with him to look at it. thanks for the help guys.

 

what do you mean what is it? just the engine codes? jdm is h22a, usdm 92-96 is h22a1, 97+ is h22a4. there are other h22 variants also.

 

jdm vtec h22a is the vtec jdm one? and usdm vtec is the h22a1? thanks. thats all i want to know.
