hmmmm i don't know how to answer your question, but before you install the guages I would like to inform you that autometer has a reputation for being very inaccurate. Sorry I can't help.

Ok I have never installed a water temp probe, but I have read that it is installed in the block. I have installed Oil press. That is installed at the back of the block next to the oil filter. You need to remove the stock oil press. sender and buy a brass T. You run a copper tube from the block to the T. On the T you will hook up the tube from the block, the stock sender, and the tube going to the gauge inside. Hope this helps.
