Default 90 dx replaced headgasket, car won't start

I replaced the headgasket, and since the battery was dead when the car was brought to me, I just finished charging battery, but the car still wont' turn over. it will crank, and start to stumble, but won't fully start.

the plugs were a lil oil soaked from the blown gasket, so I will replace those tomarrow, any other ideas for stuff to check for?

yeah that has come to mind for me too, I did mark the timingbelt, and cam gear. I'm sure they went on just as they came off.
