Do I need to have the front license plate?
Hey ya all,
I live in California and am purchasing a Colgan Car bra for my 2003 Accord EX V6. I have the option to order it without the license plate cut out, which is what I would prefer. However, some people I've talked to have told me that it's required by law to have the front license plate on. Is this true? Thanks in advance for your input

It is law in CA to have front and back. My friend even got a ticket for having the plate in his front windshield.
well, it's not that bad, if everyone remove than plate in front, the little traffic camera cant catch sh_t = everyone running the red light

Same way here in NJ. I remember someone saying that they keep their front license plate in their glove box. If they get pulled over, they would show the cop the license plate, and say that they were going to Home Depot to get some screws because it fell off.
It all depends where u live and how the law enforcement people are... but i'm pretty sure by law in most states, u need front and back plates.
My brother has a 94 accord ex coupe and he never has his front plates on! No ticket to this date (u do the math). We live in good ol' wisconsin. Oh yeah, he did get a speeding ticket once, the cop didn't say a thing except that "i'm issuing u a citation for speeding"... haha...

Plus, I think they are all a bunch of crock anyways (traffic lights) .. hes they might reduce t-bone accidents, but I bet you have more rear end accidents now because of the damn things.
