need suggestions and ideas on how to get more torque out of a gsr with skunk2 intake manifold and type r cams?

 

Sell the gsr, buy a mustang. Instant tourque!

i want non turbo answers not going bost or juice yet unless gsrs just suck for getting torque out of them, but i think there is something more i can do right?

on an engine that is a 4cyl, and the displacement is 1.8L with a VTEC implemented system you will not be able to get a lot of torque without some "magic work"

now by magic work I mean something to beef it up, with more displacement or forced induction.

Even with expensive NA upgrades your toque will not increase drastically, that is just the fate of a 1.8L GSR, that is also why we can rev so high, for these engines to produce power they need to rev a lot more then torqy beefy cars like the Camaro, Mustand, etc...

Get an ITR Tranny and flywheel. The shorter gearing helps to accelerate faster. Or go with a JDM FD and you'll go much more quickly through the gears.

just dont be a puss and boost that biotch ok you want torque? you could easily add 50-75 ft/lbs on a turbo gsr...you want torque, thats it

 

or jrsc, lots of added torque at low and high end

Put more power to the wheels w/quaife or a new lsd and suspension. You could also get a new clutch and flywheel. But the best way to gain torque is w/forced induction.
