Man, I was just driving home, I downshifted into 3rd. Everything was fine. I accelerated a tiny bit and I heard a loud chrunch sound from my tranny. I went to put it back into 3rd, to find that 3rd is no longer there. When its "in gear", its almost like my clutch is slipping, it just revs up but doesnt go anywhere. I am ******* pissed. Anyone know where I can get a cable b-series tranny? I ******* hate my car.

 

I will have one in about 2 weeks. gsr tranny. The tranny has a few grinds and not smooth as a babys butt, but it has a 3rd gear

 

Dude from your sig it says nitrous is cocaine for your motor but from what is sounds like you are E for your tranny Good Luck finding a tranny and you should look into getting a Type R tranny!!

 

uhh a type-r tranny won't worky on his DA.

 

I am definately hard on my tranny, so I expected this sooner or later. But it still sucks. And a Type R tanny is hydro, mine is a cable. Wouldnt work, even if I wanted it to.

 

i think theres a Y1 b16 tranny with LSD for sale in the classifieds forum...but what do i know

im pretty sure you can use the internals out of the type r tranny and put them in your current tranny but i hear you have a do a little mod to get one of the gears to fit right
