Default Smoke from the engine bay?

I havent started up the teg for about 3 weeks. Today I tried to start it and the battery was dead so I jumped started the car with my civic. As it was warming up I heard it revving up and down from about 1000 rpm - 1500 rpm untill it warmed up. Then I noticed smoke coming from the exhaust manifold with a nastey smell. Is this a sign that I need to change exhaust manifold gaskets?

Well, if you can see exhaust coming from the manifold then chances are that somthing needs to be fixed. Take it apart and check it out

First, you could check to make sure its not just some oil that leaked onto the outside of the manifold... I think if it were a leaky exhaust manifold gasket it would make some noise.

sounds like it could just be a small oil leak...still a problem thats needs correcting...but not too serious
