swap q!? tranny leak from axel input?
just got done (well almost) with my h22 ek swap and i have a problem...on the pass side where the axel goes into the tranny im losin all my tranny fluid? neone have problems with this? im think that the axel is not all the way seatd into the seal....anything? also let me tell ya that and obd1 engine into and obd2 car with ecu is a major pain in the ***!
1) Check your axle seal ($2 rubber seal that goes on the tranny where your axle plugs in)
2) Expand the snap ring ("C" clip) on the end of the axle and shove it back in there... the axle won't want to come out unless you pry it out, which is what you have to do with a H22 tranny. Otherwise, your axle is going to just slide right out and you'll leak tranny fluid all over the place (trust me, I had it happen to me one time)
