okay my ecu flashes 8 times then stops... then it goes again
what is it how can i fix it!.

91 hf/ZC motor/91/SI ecu
please help!

try resetting your ECU first and see if it goes away.

Either your timing is off which could have been caused by a bad distributor(which was my problem) or tension pulley, or the sensor is going bad. First check your timing. Make sure the arrows are pointing up(slightly inward on ZC) when No.1 cylinder is at top dead center. Fix it soon or your car will die on you and leave you stranded. I drove mine for a couple weeks with a code 8 before it died on me in the middle of a 24-mile bridge with no shoulder in the fog. Don't put it off for too long.
