Default ZC tranny on a D16z6?? will it work?

Will this work?

The Zc tranny has 3 mouting points for a midshaft for use of equal length to reduce torque steer.

I want to know if the d16z6 has 3 mounting points (under the oil filter) for bolting of the midshaft

Heres a pic of the zc block

SOmeone is selling a hybrid ZC tranny and i want to jump on the opporutinity if it will work on a d16z6

"You can't just use regular Si axles with the tranny either unless you replace
the differential with an Si one. "
i got this from the email of the guy whos selling the tranny

It depends.
Not all Z6's have tapped intermediate-shaft mounting holes. Supposedly on the '92 short blocks have those tapped holes.....while later (93-95) have untapped holes...but the holes are there.

I was going to build up a high compression Z6 for an EG civic; I picked up a Hydro ZC tranny which uses complete integra axles & half-shaft and works on the Z6 block I have (since it has the tapped half-shaft holes)....but the project is currently on the back burner.

AND yes, if its a true ZC transmssion where it be a cable or (rare) hydro version, the differential is made for a bigger axle.. IE> integra axles<

The hydro ZC tranny I have is for sale too, if you're interested; although I'm not sure what year your car is. If you own an 88-91 civic/crx it obviously won't work.

cool deal.
That tranny has some fun acceleration.
Just make sure you have the right clutch & flywheel combo to make everything work like butta.
