how can it start if it doesn't even turn over?

do you mean the ignition cuts on but the motor does not turn over?

Check out his threads over in TECH. It cranks, but he doesn't always get spark. Intermittent, right Sailor?

I'm thinking flaky wiring connections somewhere. Or maybe the CYP, TDC or whatever sensors in the distributor.

check all the ground connections, a loose ground can kill the electrical system

Yeah when you turn the key to the on position, you should hear the fuel pump turn on for a few seconds. If you don't, the Main relay is bad. It is comon for this to be an intermittent problem, especially in hot weather.

How bout the starter? Does it click? What if you hold the key to START, does it continue to click? If so, your starter is locked up, time for a new one.

its jus not startin the car period, starts intermittently, but when it doesnt start, i have no spark at all. maybe its not sending a signal out to the ignition? when it starts thers spark on all 4 cyli. ive already checked the obvious.

Does u dash light up normally when in acc?? If not then ur ignition could be stuffed up under the steering wheel. Try turning the key all the way and then turning it back just a little bit, that might help
