i have an option with cai and short intake
CAI is going to draw in cooler air and give better preformance then the short ram. Your not going to feel a difference between CAI and short ram. Though on a side note, the V2 CAI by AEM is putting down some nice numbers.

What i've felt myself performance wise between the short ram and CAI is that the short ram gives low end torque and a CAI gives high end torque at faster speeds... just my $.02
umm...the longer the pipe the LOWER the peak torque curve....
actually, the dynos I've seen all suggest that there is no diff. between the CAI and SR except after long driving (SR starts to give lower gains), and the CAI has a much stronger power curve (between 3500-4500 rpm it spikes, otherwise, no)
