Sorry if this topic was talked about recently, but my tranny in my car has an issue right now and I have one of two options. Repair my spare b16a hydro tranny which needs a new case bearing and 3-4 syncro set & add a quafe lsd, or because I work for honda I have the option to buy a new ITR tranny. I would pay a little more (about 700 smakers) but I needed the better gearing which both offer and desperately needed the lsd. So I'm asking how good are the two types of lsd's. I plan to run auto x and a trip to the drag's now and then to see how well tuning helps. To those that run auto X, how to you like the stock ITR lsd or have you switched to quafe. Thanks for any insight.

the b16a and itr trans have about the samegearing so you wont notice much there.
i say just get the itr lsd and put in your trans.

Go with the ITR tranny if it's already assembled.

 

is Quaife better than the ITR lsd??

 

You will never fail going with a brand new transmission
