I want to get new headers for my car, but what headers do i buy for it? will aftermarket headers clear the front crossmember? it is very tight

most 4-2-1 headers will fit. Buy for your budget, but you get what you pay for (performance & quality). I've had two JDM 4-1 Headers and I love them. I could tell a slight loss in the low end(idle-4500 rpm) but the mid to topend is very nice.

 

I'm goin with the dc jdm 4-1 as well! More top end power!!

 

Is the engine in or out of the car? If its all ready in the car I would recommend a 2 peice header.

 

for those of you with the JDM 4-1.

did you have a stock b16 manifold on before you got the header?
did you have to shorten your exhaust to install the 4-1 or did it just bolt up?

I got a dc 4-1 for a 99 si..fit perfect on my car..had to cut and bang my crossmember though!

 

I had the same setup on my 90 hatch worked great, but it hung down a little too low for me.

 

Crx A4, i just ordered my header yesterday! Just ask for the dc jdm header!

What mounts are you using? I've got Hasport and im using HP ceramic 2pc header for 92 Integra GSR, My car is an HF also and with the HP Header there is plenty of crossmember clearance. IMO for the economical choice HP is fairly decent quality for the money, nice thick flanges.

I am using place racing mounts, are all B series headers the same? do they all have 2 holes for both o2 sensors?

 

My type R header has only one hole for O2

I got the Z-10 crossmember to clear the header.

 

anyboody know what car i would purchase a header for that would have 2 o2 holes and clears the crossmember?
