Default 2nd update on car, still no fix, please read and HELP, losing faith!

To the HT people that haven't read my previous posts, here is a quick rundown of what is going on and I would appreciate ANY opinions at this point before I take the car to a prof mechanic and have it lookd at.

For the last month or so, my car has gotten incredibly slow - the VTEC is LOUD, and when I say loud I mean people with b16's and Type R's have told me my VTEC is louder than anything they've heard and as all you GSR owners know, that is not a trademark of our cars, and it hasn't been this loud, when I first put my intake on it was a little louder than stock! Now I can CLEARLY hear the 4400 xover highway driving in 5th gear! And that should give you an idea of the xover at 5800!!

When I first bought the car, the car was crazy fast, can say in confidence that it was a low 15 sec car in stock form, other people have said the same, easily a "FREAK" obd1 GSR. Every gear pulled, but gradually, without me noticing or wanting to deal with it the car got slower top end, 1st and 2nd still felt nice but cars that are not supposed to pull on me in 3rd, did. I guess I was in denial. Right now I'm slower than an LS, much slower - my VTEC is all bark, no bite, zero pull - at WOT the car just feels sluggish.

Things I have done since I first discovered this problem..

- Fuel Filter.
- Dist cap / Rotor.
- CHANGED my pump to a 2000 GSR fuel pump.
- Spark plugs and wires

Nothing. Although I know when the car is fixed it will be improved. Compression test was 220 across the board. Same thing it was when I bought the car..

The car is STILL running lean even after the filter... did a WOT run, shut the car off, checked spark plugs and they were white.

Can it be my fuel pressure regulator? ALL the spark plugs were white, what are the chances of every injector going bad??? Well, to those that have actually read this far along - Thanks.. I would appreciate any experience or information you can pass along my way ..

P.S - For the guys with "STOCK" GSRS that can't wait to do the next thing to the car, some advice for you - I was the same way, and now that my car was for some reason robbed of it's stock speed, all I wish is that I had it back - B grateful for the speed you do got, because now that mine is gone, i know I am

have u done a valve adjustment on it yet? i don't necessarily tink thats the problem.. but if for some reason your valves are way out of spec it will definitely hurt ur performance and mileage.

valve adjustment is one of the things I'm going to have the mechanic do when it comes time to take it to him - if they were way out of spec it would show in compression, no?

im not sure, but i think the comp test would show if the valves were ut of wack , it should lose compression that way
no cels? no smoke or anything like that ?
whats mods are on the car?

Only modification the car has seen while in my hands is CAI. No smoke, no CEL's. Is there anything that can happen that will make VTEC louder??? I'm almost positive that my VTEC xovers being so freaking loud are directly invovled with why my car is slow as hell right now. Does lack of fuel make it loud?

I'm baffled.

I really think it's fuel because of the plugs, are FPR's known to go bad??? at some point? Is there anyway I can test it?

put a gauge on it and check the rpessure at wot, youi can only do that on a dyno though or if you have the car on jack stands.
stock fuel pressure should prob be around 42-45 or so for the from what i remember of them, if its drastically more or less, then its something fuel related. how do all the plugs look?
anymissfire or anything?
bad /good gas mileage?

the plugs are WHITE after a WOT run..

Gas mileage is fine.. it only feels slow under heavy load really.

i keep putting the fuel injector cleaner every 3-4 tank fulls and it has helped a lot. last oil change i tried the ZMAX and although its expensive its worth it, it gave me more power on the top end.

Sounds like first thing you need to do is a valve adjustment. Isn't one of the symptoms execessive loudness, engine sounding like a diesel?
