ppl my ecu no where says pm7 it the closest to that is pm6 what does this mean please help

 

PM6 is a si ecu

PM7 is a zc ecu

 

you should be able to run a Si ecu ... what year is it?

 

the motor or the ecu? the ecu is an 89 i believe the motor is an 88
does this change any of my wiring setups since i have a 89 dx and im doin a zc swap ?

 

I am sorry what exactly is your question? I am confused

 

since my ecu is an 89 si ecu and my car harness is a 89 dx(dual point injection)will it change the way i hook it up to the motor.
(i was looking at a wiring diagram that some one posted and the number if pins dont match up with the number of pins on my si ecu.

 

my take:

he was expecting to see PM7 on his ecu
he is seeing PM6 instead
if it will work for a ZC (i've been wondering myself), his question is answered

 

It should because yours is a Dual point injection and the ECU you are using is for Multi point . Hence your ecu is looking for 4 injectors , not 2
