my sunroof is rusted through pretty bad and i was looking to replace with something other than another sunroof, mainly just to save weight. i'd like to take the whole mechanism out and just replace it with a fob of some sorts. are there any places that i can look for something like this?

Why don't you have a scoop(a little one that is) made into the hole at a local paint & body.
It worked for my friend's car, and it looked cool.

i like to keep my car as stock looking as possible. so, no holes for me.

 

Hey, just yesterday I ran across a site, http://www.speedcamp.com that makes fiberglass and carbon fiber body parts. They have a fiberglass plug for the sunroof hole in '88 to '91 rexes, 100% fiberglass, for $98 or close to that. Check it out. HTH
