Please do not waste your money.
Its just a signal enhancer probably. It takes the MAP signal and raises it a little. But please do not watse time or money.

Something electronic that you don't have to tune, usually doesn't work too terribly well

 

I am gonna say no. that 10-12 hp gain is just like the 30hp gain you get from installing a short ram intake, it only works if that is your bottleneck.

for example, the short ram intake:
if you have a high flo exhaust system, a p&p head, and manifold, etc. putting an intake on will net you about 20-30 hp, because you were using the stock airbox.

with this one, if you have a pretty high horse setup, and just the stock ecu, and no VAFC, this will help. if it were my $40 i would save it to get a VAFC

Buy it, dyno test it , and if you gain that much horsepower I will add it to my turbo setup after intense scruitny of whats actually inside the box
