crx with a B17a.....vtec problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a B17a put into my '88 crx DX and am runing a B16 ecu...my problem is when i reach vtec the engine pauses (hezatates) like its not getting fuel...and then kicks in like if vetc kicked in or something...do i need a better fuel pump?? Or is it an ecu problem??...it has B16 fuel injectors! THANX

vtec kicks in at 5,x00 i cant remember and i cant go check right now because its geting painted at a shop now...sorry...is it a fuel problem?

you very well may be having a fuel problem, I had a similar problem with my B16. I was starving it for fuel after I added 01 ITR Cams. I would check that first. See how what fuel pressure you are running.

this may sound stupid but try a Ls ecu see if it still does it , if not u may wanna try getting your ecu reprogrammed or a vafc
