Accord Touchup paint question
sorry if this forum may be off topic and belong in appearance, but as I am listed as a trial user I'm not allowed to post there:
Today, I went and bought some honda factory touchup paint for my Accord '03. However, I'm not exactly sure how to store this stuff. The parts guy said to stick it in the fridge but I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks!

I keep mine in the glove box, which can be considered room temperature, works just fine and havent had any problems with it.
Just do like he said and shake it before u use it.

THanks Kavehamn and YeuEmMaiMai for your input -
I think I'll leave the paint in the fridge (it's above water freezing point for sure - probably around 40ºF - so I'm pretty sure the paint will be fine (main concern is that it would freeze up and all that $7 would go to waste)). And I'll have to remember to shake it up before using.

In the fridge?
I keep mine in my medicine cabinet in my half bathroom (no shower or bath). Just shake the bottle up a couple of times a year or so to keep the pigment from settling too much on the bottom.
When you use the touchup paint, and there is rust, use a small flathead screwdriver to remove all of the rust (go to bare metal if you see rust). Overscrape very slightly to the edges, then put a coat of touchup paint on. Wait a little bit, and put a second coat on.

Yeah I definitely need to use a toothpick (the chip is way too small to use the brush). The stuff says it drys in 5 minutes. Should I wait like a day or two before waxing it?
i usually wait a few days and then use a cratch removing compound to smooth it out betweeb coats. after 3 coats I will clear coat, rub it out clear coat again rub it out and clear coat one last time using a cratch remover compound to smooth it out.
