Default My 1,200 Mile Road Trip to Install Spoon Goodies and Visit H-T Members (56k Killer)(Long)

I planned this trip for quite sometime and decided to go up to Norcal to visit some friends of mine including 2 honda-tech members and a few suprises happened along the way.

Only a few more hundred miles to go....

m00000!

I had to snap this pic

Peace at last..

After 6 hours on the road I finally got to fellow h-t member, John's house. His family and him were kind enough to let me have a place to stay for 2 nights. Thank you and your family very much John.

John and I planned to install his spoon header, spoon rotors, and endless NA-M pads the next day.

Woke up "early" and after 3 trips to OSH, we finally had all the right nuts and bolts for the header install.

It has begun...11:18AM

OSH...so so familiar that day.

Jacking up the front

We couldn't wait to get the POS USDM DC header out of there

Fugging bolt is the wrong size!

2:39PM We are done! After 3 trips to OSH and getting everything we needed the Sp00m header was officially on the car

So nice

Spoon's 2.5" Collector

Ghetto gloves 0wnz us

We took a break and went to the local Applebee's where we waited TOO long for our food and starved
Good food but too busy/bad service.

Part 2 of the Spoon Goodie install:
Stopped by Autozone to get a bleeder kit so we could bleed the brakes.

Picked up some of these goodies!

Powered by Coastal Oil

Dubz foh lyfe~

John looking at the straight JDM goodness to be found at autozone

The install went pretty smooth except the pads/calipers were sticking to the rotors after the install so we had to do everything over again. We took out the na-m pads and the problem was solved but there goes the responsive braking. We were way tired but still went out for a drive after at 4AM in the boonies. Twas fun

SPOON ****** unite!

:Droool:

Finished at 4AM

Part 3 of Road Trip:
I 0wned them all! mwuahaha

That's got to hurt...

Ditto

I went on my way to visit Disorder(Darrin) because his exhaust tip was just to pretty to pass up As a bonus I also met dLo(Ryan).

T1R Color Changing madness! (ver 1.0 )

Somebody wants a sponsorship...

JDM & Spoon ***** wannabes all over the place!

$2.51 For 91 octane 0wnz me

Conclusion:
It was a great trip meeting everyone and working on the car all saturday. Thanks to the Escobar family for such great hospitality. Socal boba 0wnz j00 too!

Miles Traveled: 1,2xx
Gas Money Spent: $7x.xx
Money Spent on Food: $4x.xx
Most unfortunate thing that happened: Missed the freeway exit and ended up in Sacramento

Hope someone actually reads this because it took me forever to post it

that fugging sucks.

94 octane was like 83 cents CAD per litter.

someone do the math here

you left out our mad crazy lunch...

NO JAPANESE RESTAURANTS ARE OPEN ON SUNDAY! we visited at least... 4 restaurants i believe? None of them were open. So we settled for Italian food on main street at around 3:30.

Plus B2 got lost in sacramento. haha.
