Can you modify 97 integra side view mirrors to fit 96 UP civics.

If so how?

 

I wouldnt,.....it requires drilling and the end peices have to be trimmed. The Integra one is pointy, and the EK mirror is rounded...good luck and let me see it if you plan to try it anyways!

 

yeah they dont fit, you could mod them, but i think it would look like ****.... just get the jdm ones, they are common for 2dr ek's... if your lucky you can get them cheap.

 

AARRRGGGHHH i hate this.
This is the second auction i've lost.
I went to class late too, because i stayed in front of my pc trying to win the bid for 99-00 si sideview mirrors, i went to drop my sister off, and bam i lost the auction.

Local slavage yards want 75 plus the're like red, or silver and ****.
I only want blue or black, can't find one.


I can get 97 GSR sideview mirrors for FREE.
i'm just going to slap those on.

Can i get some pointers.

 

The plugs for the sideview mirrors, are they plug and play ???

 

i know i have to do a lot of chopping,
But i guess it will be worth it.
I don't want to pay 100 dollars for them, nor do i like loosing ebay auctions, flase hopes.

I don't think they would, I believe they would also need to be modified.

MY brother in-law has sideview mirrors from a 97 gsr i can get those for FREE, they're pointer and longer and the bolt positions are at different places.

Longer part, i can trim it, bolts not matching up, i can drill the holes bigger on the car. Just wanted to check the wiring, would it fit and play?

Right now i don't have ANY sideview mirrors, something is better than nothing.
as long as it floats the boat man.

 

i think you can make them work,just shave them down till they are the same size as the stock ones,then paint them black.

a freind of mine wanted m3 mirrors for his crx,i guess they dont make them for a crx,so he bought some for a 95 civic,then his body man took a file to them and downsized the part that holds them on,they look like stock,they look great and you could never tell they were not made for a crx.its only plastic,just use a file and take it slow.

 

just offer up a trade, maybe somebody would wanna?

 

you can get the jdm knockoffs that fit perfect and still have power adjust for $120. there's another thread on here about the knockoffs that has websites to order from. just another option.

that is way over my bugdet.
The max i wanted to pay was $75, and i was even getting 99 si sideview mirrrors for 65 but my luck, i lost auctions on ebay twice. So no more waiting.


I'm going to slap the 97 gsr ones on my em1.
As far as i know, i have to chop the pointy ends, and make sure its sure in the door.
Anything else i should know, Should i chop the wires, for the power mirror motors, or are they going to plug and play.

modification will be needed for both.

ek mirror are bigger where they bolt up on the door when i got a set from ebay they sent me the wrong ones and they were quite a bit off

 

do the integra 4 door mirrors fit the 2 door integras?? like can you put the 4 door mirrors on the 2 door body?
