Default H22A into a 1989 CRX, anyone?

Hi guys:

I've got a friend who wants to install an H22a into a 1989 Honda CRX. Anyone with good solid information on what needs to be done?

Thanks,
Mark

I hear that Hasport and place racing do not sell mounts for this particular swap. I also hear you have to cut and weld and use h22a to 92-95 Civic mounts. I want to do the same swap, but I have access to a machine shop. I'm think on making my own custom mounts to avoid all that cutting and welding. I think you need to setup a hydralic clutch system as well. I'm still trying to figure out how to do this swap my self. I think it would be the cheapest if you get a front-end clip on a JDM Prelude. You'll have almost all the parts you need to do the swap.

-Just an idea

Well, Hasport is still in the designing stages of making mounts, but Place Racing is fully equipped to handle every aspect of this monumental swap. crossmembers, mounts, wiring harnesses, cabe to hydro actuators, custom axles... everything. I know cause I spent 2300 on just parts. The only cuts you need to make are on the pass fraim rail (tranny clearence) and the shift assembly inlet. the rest just welds in and bolts on. HMO will set you up with a fully equipped h22a, tell Steve, Frank from Collective Racing in Tucson sent you, he will hook you up.,
