i curbed my car...any help would be appreciated...thanks
well i curbed my car and messed up the control arm in the front and the trailing arm in the rear...and my friend told me that he has the full sespension from a gsr and he will give it to me...will that work?...what else works?...i dont want anything to mess up the geometry of my wheels so any suggestions will help...also will the rear trailing arms from a crx dx or a hatch work for now??? i have an 89 si...and the dx dosent have the sway bar in the rear like mine does.soi was kinda sketchy about putting that one on my car and thats the only thing they have at the junk yards around here......please help!!!
How badly did you hit the curb. I hit a curb going pretty fast and all I did was make a dimple in the rim. I did much worse damage hitting the pole shortly thereafter
be sure your front and rear beam are still in good shape(also referred as cross members) and be sure to get an alignment after fixed VERY IMPORTANT!
it was pretty bad...my rim in front is cracked the whole way across and the control arm in front broke, it also took out a piece of the rotor and stripped the whole ball joint it tore it out of the bolt...thats the front...in the back it wasnt that bad it just scratched up the rim and its kinda crooked now...but we already fixed the front...and now we need to fix the back
i just picked up a crx that was totaled, because of a curb, and it was much worse than yours. check out this post i started about swapping suspensions, with integras
