Need help with s2000 seat install...
Well I just wanted to do a cleaner install with all 4 points mounted down instead of on 3. One HT member started a thread where he interchanged parts from a Civic seat to make it fit correctly. Still can't get used to not having the archive search. Thanks in advance. If it matters or not I have a Del Sol.
you have to take the whole bottom pan off the S2000 seats and swap them with the civic ones. It'll seem like you're destroying the seats, but if you do it right you'll be fine.
here's the link, had it bookmarked...hope this helps.

I am currently using only 3 bolts in my EJ1 right now with S2000 seats. I plan to do a technical write-up when I modify the the 4th hole with some creative welding and bending. I plan not to drill thru my floorplan, but plan on welding a new bracket to hold the S2000 seats in the stock locations of an EJ1...
thanks for the link haloseven that was exactly what I was looking for
. SilverCivic2k thanks for the tech and I will keep in touch in case anything comes up
. Teg Turtle, what can chameleon help me with? Well SilverCivic2k, are the seats still the same condition? Ok, thanks for all your help.

chameleon has the s2k seats in his white bubbleback and they look sweeet.
i think he said he only had to bend the front two tabs. of course u'll prob have to do something a lil different cuz sol and civic rails are slightly diff. like when u throw sol seats into a civic u just gotta swap the rails over.

Yeah that's why I saw a few different approaches to this and so far SilverCivic2k looks pretty straight forward. I might try the welding, but I doubt it.
sol and civic seats are almost exactly the same it will work. Trust me. If you don't want to swap anything, then you can bend the front two tabs on the stock s2k rails and then you can make 3 holes line up. later
