dpfi to mpfi when doing a b series swap
i've got a 91 dx, and i'm going to be swapping in a obd1 b18a. My Q is, what should i do about the dpfi to mpfi wiring? should i use the teg harnessm, or modify mine? and if i did that, how would i? and i can use the teg resinator box, right?

the first thing you need to do is conver to MPFI.
there are LOTS of websites that describe the process, this place is one of them. Do a search.
Once you have that taken care off, then decide if you want OBD1 or OBD0.
If you have a 1.8 non VTEC, by all means stay OBD0.
Use a 90-91 teg ECU and aside from the dpfi to mpfi there is no extra wiring.
About the injector resistor box, yes, you can use the teg's box and the wires for the injectors and the plugs/wires for the distributor.

well, if i were to stay obd0 i would just re-do the wiring and convert to mpfi, but i'm going to go obd1, so i was wondering if there's anything special, extra, or easier that i should do?
uh yeah if you dont want a headache stay OBD0 and get a PR4 ECU. You don't need a OBD1 PR4 unless you like wiring and relocating about 50 wires and run addl wire for the heated O2 sensor or paying about 150.00 for a ECU jumper harness. Also if go OBD1 need the diz.
obd1 is much better, + the engine has 10 more hp, and i'm getting a donor car, so i dont need to pay extra for dizzy and ecu. and i'll save myself the 150 and make my own harness. I've found out how to do everything except for the o2 sensor, any advice there?
you need a 4 wire 02 sensor, from your harness you run wires thru the engine bay to the ECU from the 02 sensor. Everything you need is in the ECU

I'm currently swapping a B17 into my Civic. I'm keeping it ODB1. If you want to keep it ODB1 you will have to modify your DX harness to MPFI, then use the ODB1 fuel injectors and distributer plugs. You will also need a 4 wire O2 sensor. Its not difficult by any means to do this conversion. If you decide to go this way I have the wireing info you will need. I did buy a ODB0-ODB1 ECU conversion harness though. There is a lot of room for error when you try to make your own, so I just went and bought it to save time.
