Blue Ridge Hillclimb - SCCA Central Carolina Region - May 17 & 18
For those of you that either want to do the hillclimb event or would like to come watch, here's the information (see the link). A link to the entry form is on the home page. Today is the first day the entry form is open to the public and it is already half filled (go the the "drivers" link, then select the "entrants" link to see the people that have already entered. www.blueridgehillclimb.org
For those of you that have never been to a hillclimb event, let's just say it is the ultimate for an adrenaline rush. If you're curious about speeds...we've had a few GT-1 drivers and hillclimb "Special" car drivers say there speeds will be well over 100mph before the first turn (sort of like the back straight at VIR before the first turn which is like the "kink" at CMP). What can you win you may ask? A total of $5,000 purse will be distributed on Sunday in Cash!
will be provided by Coors Light (Event Sponsor) on Saturday night...multiple kegs.
