Sway bar question?
I plan on putting on a sway bar on my 90 civic std but not sure which sway bar to use..Any recommendations..ST, oem? Also is it possible to install a front sway bar as well..I know you need to change the rear lca's..What is involved for the front if possible..
TIA

if you run the ST rear bar, i am 99% sure you don't need to switch to Si rear LCAs...
and for the front bar, your front LCAs should have the holes for the swaybar endlinks. you would just need to the 2 mounting brackets to mount the swaybar to the chassis.

you dont need to change the rear lca's but I dont think there's the mounting holes on the rear subframe like a si. The hole's are there but theres no nut's welded to the backside to thread into. if i remember correctly.
The ST mounts endlinks mount to the struts with a supplied bracket, and it is supported by brackets that attach to the rear tow hooks. No Si anything is needed.

Yeah ,i was actually talking about stock rear crossmember mounting points, but do the std's even have the holes for tow hooks? I cant remember.

at least 90 STD's have holes in the sub frame for a factory rear sway bar in the same location as SI's
