price 4 cams
does anyone know if skunk2 cams are actually worth the $600-$700. Should i save for them or are itr/ctr cams a better "bang for buck"? Has anyone used both and can tell a substantial difference?
Skunk2s are a little more aggressive. Without tuning and bolt ons to improve air flow, it will bog for a while when you hit vtec. (at least on my GSR motor).
There is really not much choice.
After you are done with intake and exhaust (headers and cat back), the next thing to modify to improve air flow are the cams.

its gonna cost you more than just 600-700 at the end. depending on which stage of cams you get, to really use the skunk2 cams, you have to upgrade your valvetrain as well (valves, retainers, springs) and get good cam gears. then you'll have to dyno and tune it, which again will cost money. so you better have a lot change if you want to properly use and take advantage of the more aggressive cams. but at the end, you'll be more satisfied with the skunk2 over the itr/ctr cams IMO
