hey guys whats up im goin turbo soon on my gsr motor and was wondering which head gasket is the best to use im using stock internals i was thinkn cometic let me know

stock. If your going the length of turbo, go the length of building internals. I learned the hard way. Mine lasted me a year before the sleeve cracked.

i wasnt planing on like using a thincker one lower compression i was jus wondering whcih onces to use and like should i use a copper one

i used a stock motor and everything worked gread long as you watch everything you will be fine

 

I'm going to use an OEM overbored head gasket. OEM Honda

 

Like you should like use like a stock like one. Like the stock one like works fine. Anytime you can like use factory parts you should. Most factory honda parts are like pretty good quality, thats like why they use then in the first place. Like i wouldn't like waste any money on a aftermarket head gasket when like the stock one works like fine...

stock headgasket, I have an o-ringed block, so no copper spray or anythign else.

i 'm using a stock one also, but think it blew on me the other day...hope thats it. well fingers crossed. Gonna get another stock one

 

Hey Stan, i have a stock HG, O-Ringed block and my head gasket has been sprayed with copper spray, how come you didnt spray yers, just curious.

 

I like to keep things simple...mine never leaks..
I drove it from LA to dallas 23 hrs straight, never overheats or leaks...

I trust stock HG enough not to use copper spray and etc..it's the way you do the o-ring that makes all the difference
