HELP... dpfi to mpfi swap
I'm doing the dpfi to mpfi conversion with a d16y8 motor in a 1990 crx Dx.
I have completed all the injector wiring and ecu pin changes but i have a question.
when swapping pins c1 and c2 to b10 and b12, i have read that b10 and b12 are supposed to be empty slots. on mine, there is a white/red(?) wire that runs into b12. anyone know what this is?
right now with that wire out and all other wires done according to procedures, the engine does nothing. when you turn the key, no starter sounds, gauges light up, no CEL light, but again, nothing from the starter.
then after testing radio and lights etc...
after I turned on the headlights something zapped and now nothing works. I checked ALL fuses and they are ALL good!
I gave up for a few hours, went back to the car, and as soon as I opened the door, I had power again to dome light and gauges... but still not starting.
tried headlights again, and now nothing again.
Please help!

okay so i now have the engine running but i am having a serious problem with throttle movements.
the engine idles fine, but if you slowly give it throttle, it will sputter and rev very slowly as well as react in a bouncing idle way.
if you rev it hard it will just rev up like normal.
So when u drive it, because of this throttle response, the car jumps and sputters and drives really bad.
I am suspecting my IAC vavle mainly in part cause I have a code 14 on the crx si ecu.
I have troubleshot this according to a helms and haynes manual.
If i disconnect it and manually connect 12V, it clicks like it's supposed to.
With ignition on, I receive 12V at the IAC.
If I disconnect the IAC plug while the engine is running however, it does not die which is what it should do according to the manual.
Someone please help?!?!?!
