Default CX w/ CRV motor - gas mileage?

Stock CRV mileage is 22 city / 25 highway.

If it was dropped into a CX - how much improvement would it be over the stock output? The CX weighs 1032lbs LESS then the CRV, I would imagien the differance would be alot.

Tried searching, didnt find anything... anyone?

I would guess it would be about 5 mpg better. In any case it wouldn't be that bad

Well im just curious, because I know if the car was PULLING 1032 pounds, it would be more then a 5 mpg differance.

My bro had a B20/Vtec w/ LS Tranny and he frequently saw 400+ w/ his setup per tank

Yea, I was quite amazed at the mileage when he told me. I barely get 200 w/ my stock CX motor, but that could also be because every single gasket you can think of is spent

Im sure it does, thats probably tank size + reserve.... Actual printed material says its only 10 gallons though. (probably has to do with the CX being a light weight "gas sipper" model - they say the tanks smaller because that extra two gallons of gas would add 16 lbs )

This is weird, I'm running a b20z with gsr tranny in a 96 hatch, and I'm embarassed to say I'm getting 18.5 mpg mixed driving. I got 195 miles on my tank this week, and I took it fairly easy. I checked the plugs, they seem normal, (not white, not black) but an even gray color....anyone know why its so crappy for me? 45 psi fuel, sk2 intake, only code is evap, so i guess those fumes aren't getting burnt.
