Need to paint your interior/cage? Give this a try (pics)...
A while back I posted a question about interior color preferences since my yellow rex has so much glare. Well, based on the suggestions I got (which mainly said dull and dark), I went out and found this:

It's about the dullest, non-reflective paint I have ever seen. It cover's pretty good and it's dry in a few minutes. Here's a close-up shot of a section of my door panel WITH THE FLASH ON:

For comparison, here's a shot of my glossy (but still plain black) seat with the flash on:

As you can see, this paint pretty much doesn't reflect light (at least not to the naked eye). I haven't made much progress painting the interior since I'm still painting the newly finished cage, but here's a shot of the driver's door panel so that you can see how the color turns out. All I did was give it a single coat of primer and a single coat of black:

I will likely go back and do a second coat of black just for good scratch protection (since it's still yellow at underneath). I'll have more pics of the whole interior once it's finished but you get the idea. I wanted the interior dark and dull and I don't think you can get a better paint for that. It's even more dull than the dark battleship grey color that is pretty popular among racers.

Everything will be filed, trimmed, and padded when the construction is done.
Looks good. How is durability?
I intended to paint it white, but I liked the color of the primer so much I decided to go with that. I added a clear coat for durability (which isn't super) so it still turned out a little glossy.
No Clear
