i have this guy that's giving me a bunch of d series stuff for free. he gave me a z6 head with web cam. i didn't like the "homemade" port and polish (DREMMEL) so he had a 99 y8. he said that he put the z6 came towers in because the y8 ones were taller or shorter, can't remember. then he'll put the cam in and its good to go. is this true? i looked at it and it made sense and it all fit. he said that now i have to run the modified a6 distibutor or convert to obd1 if desired. i was kinda hoping to use the y8 head since the a6 distributor bolts right up, so i'm told. is any of this making sense? what to do now?? i have the z6 block and intake manifold still.
