I recall reading an article on mounting digital camcorder on the passenger seat with some sort of conception which included a tennis ball at the end of the stand..nebody know what i'm talking about..please? i'd luv to get it before going to ITR expo next month..

Here's the link. I built mine in an afternoon. Really easy, though mine came out a little rough since I suck with a hacksaw, and can't drill too straight either.

One quick thing though, unless you have someone sitting in the passenger seat, I'd recommend mounting it on the driver's side. Videos taken from the passenger side without someone to weight the seat down result in a lot of jiggling. If you mount in the drivers seat, it is much more stable and you get much better video.
