Has Anyone ever seen or put a b-series in the back on a crx?
Just a question for a cool project if you had some $$! Doesn't seem like it would be crazy complicated besides get the Gear Selector to work and maybe cooling
i just would like to ask why? what is the point in putting a b series motor in the back of a crx? to say "i put a b series motor in the back of my crx" if u ask me waste of money
rear wheel drive! Whats the point of all this power we have if you can't put it down, I have a Turbo b16 Ek and its horrible right now, you can't launch it its a waste of power. I thinking modding the cars in general is waste but you getted hooked. Someones idea is always a waste to someone. Me putting a turbo kit on my car could be looked at as a waste of time and money to someone else. Just thought it would be a cool idea. why did that guy put an nsx engine in the back of the crx? He wanted to and its cool as ****! just my .02
and don't get me wrongI do agree with you its a deff a complete waste of money and time. I just think its cool or would be! Jesus I can't even afford to keep gas or insurance on the one car I have let alone take on a poject like that!
wtf? why would having rwd put the power down better than 4wd when you're just relocating the engine and tranny? gay ****.

I remember somebody put a NSX mill in the back of a CRX. I don't know if it ever ran....

I think that'd probably be bad @ss if you had the time and money to do it. Don't get me wrong, it'd be pretty pointless, but it'd still be cool and definitely unique.

ya, I had a mini-me turbo in the front, built zc in the pass, and a B18b in the rear..
****, it had mad torque...
wow and you got them to all work together, love to see the drive train from the pass seat motor.
The AWD system in 4g's is pretty craptastic in a roadracing application. I'd much rather have a predictable RWD car to put down power. What issue of Hondatuning is that conversion mentioned in?
Note: I said roadracing, not dragracing. The FWD handicap in RR is not being able to control the balance of the car as easily as a RWD car.
the last time i saw the Madahve Motorsports (sp?) crx run (the rear NSX engine), it was running 11s. crazy sheit
i saw the car recently in someones post and they have a turbo kit on it now. Can't remember where the post is though!
remember that hyundai from SCC?
it had an engine in the front and back....
that's what i would like to see done to a civic....
b16 front and back, the hardest thing would be getting it to shift gears....unless it was an auto

The first ever run of the 'CR-NSX' was at Silver Dollar Raceway in Georgia at the gay NOPI show they had last year. Car made three runs that day. Ran 11s no problem for the first two runs, however, on the third the driver sprayed the NAWWSSS, and there went the rings on the motor. Basically it was all driver error, because later on that day the guy drove someone's Supra. The owner did not have the clothing requirements met for the track, so he let this other guy drive it. Somehow, he managed to run a 14 second E.T. with a 130+mph trap speed.
There is a guy here in ontario who has a twin vr6 golf. it was at importfest, I think it was running 13s but having difficulites, should be faster this year. I know its not roadracing, but something interesting none the less.
I saw a very old Car and Driver Mag. from the mid 1980's They put a second 1.5 si motor in an si. THey had a some problems with getting the engines to work together.
I know that there is a Civic wagon with 4 wd. I bet it was a d series motor and only guys with d's could ever hope to get that transmission to work in a crx.
