Default stupid question? not sure.. help me out. clutch/flywheel for b18a compatible with vtec head.

Got a stock b18a in a g2 integra. Adventually going LS VTEC. Wanted to upgrade the clutch/flywheel. If I upgrade, will it still work once i get a different head on there. I'm pretty sure yea, but arent b16 and b18 cable engines, dont they have different clutches? Ahh sorry if this seems like a stupid question. Just seemed a little confused and wanted to clear it. Thanks

Well since you will be keeping the B18A block, which where the clutch actually connects to the engine, I think there should have no problems.

When you do your LSVTEC swap your tranny out too... The only problem that could arise would be if you decided to run a hydro tranny conversion... Even if you decided to do that all you would have to swap would be the clutch disk... I really doubt you were planning on this but if you go with a Y1 or YS1 (92-93 B17A) then you'll be just fine... OTHERWISE THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS!!!
