what's a fusable link? where are they?
i've heard about fusable link (or inline fuses? not sure). what are they? what do they control? where are they located in the car?
I'm not sure about Honda's, but in most other cars a "fusable link" is a section of wire that is designed to burn out before the rest of the wiring loom goes out. It's a last ditch effort to save the car.
Normally (at least on domestic cars) it's hidden in the loom and you wouldn't know that it's there. The only way to know the location would be to look at a wiring diagram. That is unless you have a MAJOR problem.
An example of a place that I'd expect to see a fusable link would be on the main connection to the battery.
