Legend Caliper Upgrade
through the mists of time comes the saved article from the original hybrid board:
"When you lose your car for 8 months, you get bored, start bugging
people (hi Eric
), and eventually do something crazy like this...
What I know only applies to DA/DC series Integras, but most of it
should work with your application:
Shown is a 3G Integra front knuckle, Spoon 11.1"x23mm 96SpecR front
rotor OEM Honda blank redrilled to 4x100, 91 NSX front caliper:

Shown is the Spoon 96SpecR rotor next to a stock Integra front rotor:

(Spoon rotor was generously loaned by A&J Racing to give me a chance
to sort out fitment problems.... But at the prices they were asking
for, I would not have been able to afford to buy them anyway
)
Shown assembled... note lack of rotor clearance inboard of caliper:

Solution was to shave at least 3mm off the caliper bracket to gain
clearance. Why? I know you can bolt NSX calipers to Type-Rs and
Prelude VTECs without machine work because they have something like
3mm+ more offset than regular Integras do.
Also take note that early NSX rotors are 28mm thick, whereas Type-Rs
and Prelude VTECs are 23mm.
Shown is a 4x100 15x6.5 35mm SSR Type-M:

Shown is Brembo Prelude VTEC 11.1"x23mm 4x114.3 rotor redrilled to
4x100 and slotted by KVR Performance. KVR NSX carbon-fiber brake pads
are also shown:

There are more pictures, but I haven't had time to scan anything.
Special thanks to Jesse for the webspace (too lazy to work on my own
webpage), Eric B. and Adrian to listen to me rant, Jerome Soh for the
calipers, and Ed Sawyer for the tech stuff on his NSX conversion on
his own Prelude.

Just to report back some good info.
I have had my Legend Calipers with my Hawk HP+ for 5 auto-x, and 2 track events and wear is even as could ever be asked for. Braking is great so no adverse effects to flipping the sides.

i've had them on my civic EX for 3 years now with ZERO problems. tons of autoX and simply stupid highway driving. best bang for the buck around (if you are into braking). i got the calipers used and rebuilt for under$225!!!
