Kosei K1 racing 7x15inch with Yokohama A005 200ish slicks. Medium compound in front, soft in rear......hehe and slick number 5 and 6 are hard compounds for the REAL track....... oh yeah!

*cough* *cough* .....where is the next autoX event please?! [img]extremcool.gif[/ img]

Nice tyres.

But what is the purpose of running a stickier compound on the rear of the car?

The front tires get hotter from accelerating, braking, driving curves....so it has to be a harder compound.

What difference do you note between using the same compound at every corner and using a harder compound in the rear?

Niiice tires..... Slicks are badass. The improvement over R compound is very large.

If you autocross, does your club allow slicks? In the US, most clubs do not allow racing slicks.

Wouldnt running a softer compound in the rear and harder up front cause understeer?

That's what I would expect.

There should be "depth" holes.... when you can't see them no more they are finished....
