Clutch Advice
I 'm a Prelude owner but this board seems more active and my question relates to
some concerns you guys had with Exedy clutches:
Ok so I know ACT clutches have a good rep and a lot of people recommend them.
I started calling places for prices and for the heavy duty kit they want $680 CDN (cheapest). I never realized they were so expensive.
One place I called recommended the Exedy organic and its only $380.
I know a few shops who stick with ACT cuz they've never had any problems with them and they say the same can't be said for the Exedy. BUT, considering my engine is practically stock with 170,000km I really can't justfy spending an extra $300. My clutch is worn and I just want something better than stock. They are made in Japan and provide a lot of OEM equipment.
What do you guys think of Exedy Clutches? I know a few ITR ppl had problems with them. Also in the same $400 price range is the Centerforce. How are they?
any input is appreciated...
