Default In terms of power..

After boosting a sleeved B18c and a B18C5 which would make more power, w/ equal psi, etc. etc.

you can't find it in a search cuz its a stupid question.

the c5 will make more power do to its higher flow head and higher compression.

That said, would I ever boost a C5, no. Other's have and will continue to do so, but IMO, its a perfect NA motor and i wouldn't do it any other way.

most of the fastest cars out their right now are all running gsr's

street cars, yea.
but all the fast drag cars are running gsrs...

mike/earl laskey, lisa kubo, ed burgenholts, etc...
you won't find b18b's there, and that's what i was referring to

i really dont see the purpose to this question but none the less, the B18C5 will make more power due to the higher compression, but the part about having a better head is not 100% true. yea it does flow better but thats for N/A purposes and not FI. The GSR head is actually more ideal due to its smoother combustion chamber which will reduce the effect of hot spots which create detonation. Also going stock block for stock block you will be able to get more hp from the C5, but you will be able to get more boost into the C due to the lower compression and smoother combustion area. Also the cams on the C5 are designed for N/A and have too much overlap for any kind of FI design.

What it all comes down to is that the GSR engine is better to boost mainly for one reason, its cheaper. anyone who is going to spend the time and money to resleeve the block will also add in lower compression pistons. with that done it then renders both blocks just about the same, the only difference would be the head and then the GSR has a slight edge.
