I was going to sign up ...but no one told me a definate answer as to whether NASA-VA was going to allow the S2000 back this year w/o aftermarket roll-over protection.

Chris - who doesn't want to be harrassed like he was at the Summit Point, Lowe's, and CMP events last year.

Several things I think:
1) ITRExpo the following week
2) NASA-Ohio at Mid-Ohio the same weekend
3) CMP is losing popularity

I initially had no intention to drive there this year, but Chris needs instructors, so I guess I'll be signing up .

Matt<--NOT a CMP fan.

It's not just whether NASA would allow it... it's whether the track allows it, and whether there's an instructor willing to ride in an open top car WITHOUT a roll hoop over their head. I for one am NOT. Personally, I don't think you should be willing to drive out there either, but again that's a personal opinion, and everyone's idea of "safe enough" is different. Just for future reference also, VIR (the track) won't allow a S2000 out with the factory "bar", so you'd get harassed there, to the point of not being allowed out.

Good luck...

I know ...but thanks for re-reminding me.

I have a few instructors that will ride w/ me anyway.

Chris - who signs the waiver just like everyone else (and so does his wife).
