Just stick some glow plugs in it, and boost the compression to 20:5:1.....it will be MaD FaSt Yo.

Dude, if you have to ask a question like this, then you have no place in raising ur CR that high. Unless, someone else is building up ur engine, in which case, ask them what they'd feel comfortable doing.

Plenty of money to pay for your race gas if you are planning on driving with that motor daily.

they can if its built with a massive budget....but remember they dont have interference motors aka the valves will have tons more room to open up we have extremely small clearances for ours with even a 13.5 cr

Isn't the fastest N/A I4 engine that one H22 w/ a displacement of 2.6L? I think that one runs like 16:1 compression.

lol if you took it to 20:1 and used glow plugs, you could run diesel fuel

You may want to send a PM to KMS Luder, I know he was running high compression on an H22 block, he can give you some ideas on what would need to be done. And yes, he did blow it up eventually, it is not daily driver friendly.
