race gas, crazy *** tuning on a stand alone, lots of patience when the thing runs like ****, bad *** building ability....yea just some of it. what i would say is it its a hardcore motor if u get it runing right

what do i need to run 14.5:1 comp pistons on an ls/vtec motor

good luck!
good luck!
and the same metal from wolverines claws??
I just wrote that because my friend says he has 13.0:1 compression on a B20/Vtec. so whats the safest compression i can go on Cam2 racing gas with an MSD ignition system wires and plugs? on the LS/Vtec
Dude, if you have to ask a question like this, then you have no place in raising ur CR that high. Unless, someone else is building up ur engine, in which case, ask them what they'd feel comfortable doing.
Domestic cars runing 14.5.1??? Some one lied to you!
Don't know if it's true, but I heard that "l'natural" Jeremy Lookofsky is running something that high

Isn't the fastest N/A I4 engine that one H22 w/ a displacement of 2.6L? I think that one runs like 16:1 compression.
lol if you took it to 20:1 and used glow plugs, you could run diesel fuel

You may want to send a PM to KMS Luder, I know he was running high compression on an H22 block, he can give you some ideas on what would need to be done. And yes, he did blow it up eventually, it is not daily driver friendly.
