Default from the SI to the CX

well here are the pics of my new Cx and the pics of the old SI

the SI


The CX


B18c1 in SI


b18c1 in CX


more b18c1 in CX


these will go on thiis week sometime


the SI cluser and not to forget the SI clock in my CX


the b18c1 feels alot better in the CX

i still need to lower the CX im not sure if i want to transfer my shocks and coilovers from the Si to the CX...maybe ill buy some tokico blues and GC's

also got to transfer my 4 wheel disck brakes (gsr's in the front, stock SI's in the rear) thats going to be done this week too

well let me hear what my fellow H-T members have to say

nice choice on the intake mani...its a bitch to install when the car is in. i hope u did it when it was outa the car. took me and my friend like 8 hours. looks good tho.

yeah i did it before i eveb put the motor in the SI...i also did one on my brothers GSR when the motor was in the car...never again


nice, is that a ITR or Skunk2 IM? what model intake did you use, 99-00 Si?

thanks its a skank 2 manifold and the intake is for a 92-95 Si/EX
i bought it when i still had the d16z6 in the SI

if you have the right tools it shouldnt be that bad...took me about 3 hrs to do it to my bros GSR

but most likely the fact that its lighter

im running a 95 p72...i have the CEL on cause i broke the knock sensor

well from my opinion and the opinion from eveybody that has been n my car or drove it...it pulls way harder

well the Si is not really a shell...i put the motor form the CX into it...i hooked up the AC and iam trying to find a p/s pump and braket that will fit the d15b8

im in the southbay area, CA

I did the same thing - swapped my B18C5 from my 1992 Si hatch into a 1992 Cx hatch and I never once regret it at all.

Looks great bro!

So is someone getting a special edition 70hp Si soon, or are you keeping it for a nice slow daily driver with A/C?

thnanks...i dont regret it at all either,it was well worht it

yeah im gonna be selling that 70hp beast to a co-worker of mine who lives about 60 miles away from where we work and wants AC ,p/s, and doesnt care for the motor size...gets great gas millage...perfect for him

anybody know what p/s pump and bracket will fit the d15b8?

Yeah, would you believe I get 40+ mpg with my crappy CX motor? I guess thats the only thing not crappy about it, especially in SoCal!
