I feel like a total ricer for asking this but...

Saturday, some choad in a furniture moving truck ran over a piece of wood which sent it flying into my car's path. After it struck my corner lamp and shattered it, i've been on a quest trying to find OEM corner lamps.

I can't find them ANYWHERE (other than paying out of my *** for them from honda). I would REALLY like to have the OEM corners but... alas, i must go to the "JDM" style and figure why not just get the black housing corner lamps i've been finding on ebay.



Does anyone have these on their CRX? if so, got a pic? The pic thread above doesn't have anything, and I fear the appearance forum.

 

Do you have black projectors? If not they would look pretty dumb. I highly doubt no junkyard around you has EF corners.

 

they make full amber ones too...vision makes some...i like those a lot.

 

I was thinking about this...I'll just paint the headlamp housing black too. I don't need the headlamps to see anyways... I live in Vegas and there's street lights everywhere.

I don't dig the vision corner lamps either. i'll figure something out. Hopefully a local junkyard with have an OEM corner lamp for me.

I was faced with the same issue a little while back. OEM Honda corners are insanely expensive, so I just went with a pair of Matrix clears...they're not too ricy and they get the job done.

If you'd like, I can go find a pair from the junkyard for you...

 

get OEM. they rock and can be found for prettty cheap. If not head to your junk yard and get them.

 

I bet there are at least 50 H-T members who own aftermarket cornerlamps and would be more than willing to just give you their stocks.

vision doesnt make anything for the CRX never has..... but ebay people can sell **** to people easier by saying that i guess?....and kam i never thought id see the day u putting something cosmetic like black housing lenses on ur car goto a junkyard or get clear ones the clears are more "JDM" then black

 

hey cam, i am a friend of gregs (silver focus zx3 with a cage), i would personally go with oem honda or just get the clear corners (i have clear corners) black headlights and corners wouldnt look to good on a yellow car in my opinion, it would look like a bumble bee

 

what about a salvage yard? otherwise i see the OEM ones in the classifieds from time to time for less than $20

 

i got also a set of OEM's but they are from a 90.....
dependin what yr car u got u can only get either 88-89 or 90-91

 

which side did it shatter?

I can send you one for free if you pay shipping but I have one thats vision'ed(painted) and one thats not...forgot which side though. They are for a 90 rex.

It was the passenger side that shattered. I curse the day the Furniture store hit that chunk of wood.

I'd like to buy a few sets so I can have some laying around when i get into my next fender bender (it's gonna happen).

just teaches me to never drive the crx around town.

a friend has a set of those. ick. not for me. if it costs money to make the car look different than stock, then you don't spend your money on it. make it faster.

buy some ghetto clears and spray them.

 

Buy cheap clears from autodynamic.com and paint them with Krylon stain glass like me and youll be one cool ****...

 

I have them to go along with my black projectors. Yes, they don't look that great with stock headlights, but look decent enough with mine. If you're going to keep your stockers, I'd go with oem or clears.

I just bought a pair of OEM corners for a 90-91 CRX $26 + $5 S/H on Ebay. I only needed the drivers side (my bad, I hit a shopping cart). $13 + $4 S/H and the passenger sides yours. E-mail me if you're interested.
