I am fixing to buy a cold air intake(short ram right now). I have seen lots of posts of people getting the 99-00 version, but i was wondering with my stock motor in the EX would it help me or hurt power to get the Si? I wouldve searched but its down

Get an intake that is made for your car. If you don't you could have some fitment issues. Getting one for an si won't help performance any seeing how many intakes use the same size tubing and suck. If you want my opinion I would go with the AEM V2, they have posted some really good numbers for this intake.

 

i remember a post about somebody putting a gsr/itr on a civic and its better cuz its 3 vs. 2.5 so it lets more air in. i cant tell u all about it cuz it was along time ago. but i would recomend getting the one for ur car cuz itll be a whole lot easier to put it in.
