Distributor Squeeking?
Most likely the bearing is going or gone. You will want to fix it asap because if it locks up it could cause damage to your camshaft or if it locked up your camshaft it could cause serious problems. One thing you can do is take of your distributor cap. If there is a rust colored dust in there that means your bearing is ruined. I think it's pretty common in ludes for the distributor to go. I will warn you that it's an expensive fix (but then again... everything is expensive to fix on hondas) Honda wants $330 for a new housing. That does not include the cap, rotor, ignitor.. anything. I got mine on Ebay for $175 brand new. That is for everything. And it comes with a 1 year warranty. Or you could check your local auto parts store... they can prob get one for around 200-250 remanufactured. It's an easy fix... 3 bolts...reset your ignition timing and you're set. This would be a good time to advance your timing a few degrees too if u wanted to. I hope that helps you out. Good Luck.
