Hey guys,

I'm working with Carlex to get some affordably priced mods/upgrades for everyone and wanted to know if a couple of you were looking for anything in particular. Perhaps a handful (10-12) of us could get together and get some brake pads or stainless lines or something. What d'ya think?

A set with pads/lines/fluid would be good if you could get all who was interested to agree on which ones to get.

Either way I would be interested.

 

Tell ya what we can do...

Stainless steel lines, front and rear Hawk HPS pads, and ATE Super Blue fluid for $195 (this price is good for Type-R's only since GSR's don't have a Hawk rear pad). A complete setup for less than what some guys pay for front pads only. If you've already got Super Blue maybe you want Super Gold. I'd be down with some 4 piston calipers (spoon) or some 16" wheels to match.

 

That would be great but we typically don't discount Spoon parts. However we're willing to make an exception if you can organize 10 buyers by the end of the month.

 

I'll take some SS lines & fulid.. just changed pads but for $195 for all of it, I'd get a spare set...

Using a little creativity, here's an update: Non-ITR setups have two choices. You can get just front pads on the package for $157 or you can get AEM rear pads which brings the package cost back up to $195. All prices are before shipping which will be $14 insured.

 

Yes. Hawk doesn't make rear pads for Civics or Integras so that complete package includes AEM rear pads. Who's yer daddy?

 

so what does this purchase include for the R owners again?

 

ITR package includes:

Hawk HPS front pads.
Hawk HPS rear pads.
Goodridge stainless steel lines.
1 liter of ATE Super Blue fluid.

What is the net volume of the brake system reservoir+lines to abs + abs unit + lines +hoses+ calipers = ??? anyone know approx?

 

I don't know the exact answer to your question but I can tell you that the 1 liter ATE super blue included in this package is more than enough to flush the system when you install everything and top things off a few times.
