88-89 si cluster into 89 std.....wiring info needed
I have an 88-89 si cluster I want to put into my 89 std. Now, if I plug it in it doesnt work. I did find that quite a few wires dont trace to the same things on each cluster. Anyone have some wiring diagrams? Thanks......

Im sure....absolutely sure. It is flat on top. Now, because mine is a STD not a DX that is what I think is the problem. Ive read of everyone plugging them into DX's but I havent heard of anyone plugging an si cluster into a STD

its plug and play. i have a CX (std in the US) and i installed an 89 Si cluster without any mods. maybe the cluster you got is defective ?

Its not defective. It works just fine. I just traced out all the pins from both clusters and rewired. Works just fine now. Dont worry about any wiring diagrams anymore.
